Ronda Rousey won the first female fighter in UFC history on Saturday, defeating Liz Carmouche with an armbar with 11 seconds left in the first round at UFC 157.
Ronda Rousey (7-0) defended his belt with his brilliantly taken fetish, forcing Carmouche to submit. The winner raised his arms in victory after delivering the longest fight of his career in mixed martial arts.
Carmouche (7-3) had yet Rousey placed in a difficult position early in the fight by standing in throttling.
The former UFC champion Lyoto Machida won by virtue of a split decision against the veteran of 42 years, Dan Henderson, on the undercard. Urijah Faber has meanwhile defeated Ivan Menjivar with an acrobatic catch late in the first round.
